Free St Johns Ambulance App
I have just downloaded the free St Johns Ambulance App from the Apple app store.
It covers all aspects of first aid from identifying conditions to treatment and if you care for an elderly person ( and have an Apple device) I would highly recommend you take a look at it.
It covers emergency conditions such as
- Asthma
- Bleeding
- Bones and muscles
- Burns
- Chest Pain
- Choking
- Drowning
- Poisoning
- Head injury
- Resuscitation
- seizure
- Stroke
It also covers other situations such as:
- Allergic reactions
- Cold
- Diabetes
- Faint
- Heat
- Hyperventilation
- Bites and stings
It also confirms the correct procedure when calling the emergency services, details about what our First Aid kits should contain and techniques for treatments and good hygiene . It shows how to place a person in the all important recovery position and how to treat shock.
This is an easy to read and follow App and as my first aid skills are a little rusty I shall take time to read it through.
